NPP supply and demand projections for the Sahel

Annual projections of different NPP (net primary production) scenarios balance (supply and demand) for the 21st century Sahel. Projections are generated by coupling a simple NPP supply model (forced with projections from four representative concentration pathways) with a global, reduced-complexity demand model (driven by socio-economic data and assumptions derived from five shared socio-economic pathways). Corresponding population density projections are also included in the dataset. This data is supplementary to Sallaba, F., Olin, S., Engström, K., Abdi, A. 本数据集针对21世纪萨赫勒地区，提供不同净初级生产力（NPP, net primary production）情景下的供需平衡年度预测成果。本次预测通过耦合两类模型生成：一类是以4种典型浓度路径的预测结果为驱动因子的简易NPP供给模型，另一类是以5种共享社会经济路径的社会经济数据及相关假设为驱动依据的全球低复杂度需求模型。数据集同时收录对应的人口密度预测结果。本数据集为Sallaba, F.、Olin, S.、Engström, K.、Abdi, A. M.、Boke-Olén, N.、Lehsten, V.、Ardö, J.与Seaquist, J. W.于2017年发表于《地球系统动力学（Earth System Dynamics）》的论文《萨赫勒地区净初级生产力的未来供需》的补充数据。
