The data published in this dataset includes: - acquistion of the energy consumption of an Arcam A2X during the printing phase at each layer. The measurements have ben acquired for processing the build reportedi 10.1016/j.addma.2020.101115. These data are used as output for the neural network. The file also contain the geomtrical input to train a neural network in the study "Modeling time and energy consumption in electron beam powder bed fusion: the role of build design and layer-wise analysis - Paolo Antonioni Vincenzo Lunetto, Manuela Galati" - the STL file used for the analysis of the effect of the build design on specific energy consumption of the Arcam A2X in the study reported in "A novel methodology for predicting energy and time consumption in additive manufacturing powder bed fusion with electron beam system using neural network - Paolo Antonioni Vincenzo Lunetto, Manuela Galati"
