RNA-seq of P. vivax patient isolates from Cambodia

Whole blood samples were collected from patients in the Kampong Speu province of western Cambodia who were 15 years or older. In this study, we aim to characterize a deletion in the 3' UTR of multidrug resistance 1 (mdr1) gene, particularly how it affects the resulting mdr1 transcript structure and levels of expression.

本研究从柬埔寨西部磅士卑省（Kampong Speu）15岁及以上的患者中采集全血样本。本研究旨在对多药耐药基因1（mdr1）3'非翻译区（3' UTR）中的一处缺失突变进行特征分析，并重点探究该突变如何影响mdr1转录本的结构及其表达水平。
