BACTERIAL AND ARCHAEAL COMMUNITIES FROM SOUTHERN GULF OF MEXICO SEDIMENTS

In this work we assessed the prokaryotic communities in marine sediments from the Southern Gulf of Mexico by barcoded 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Samples were collected in September of 2015 along a transect representing a variety of hydrocarbon and heavy metals pollution levels.本研究通过带条形码标记的16S rRNA基因测序技术，对墨西哥湾南部海洋沉积物中的原核生物群落进行了分析。研究样本于2015年9月沿一条涵盖不同烃类与重金属污染水平的样带采集获得。
