Metlink Public Transport Google Transit Feed Specification

The Google Transit Feed Specification produeced by Metlink which contains information on the public transport serviced provided by Metlink on behalf of Greater Wellington Regional Council. The data is held as a series of text files with coordinates for each stop (stops.txt) and vertex for each route (shapes.txt, joins to the routes.txt file through the shape_id field) in the network under the WGS84 projection system. This data is updated following any changes to the network and is possibly more accurate than the data presented under the Metlink Public Transport Routes and Metlink Service Stops datasets.
