The Aydar-Arnasay Lakes System is a large artificial wetland complex located in Jizzakh and Navoi regions of Uzbekistan, designated as a Ramsar site. The area holds significant importance along the Central Asian migratory flyway. The article analyzes the taxonomic composition, distribution, and ecological features (feeding, breeding, migration) of waterbirds, as well as threats and conservation measures. Based on monitoring data, changes in bird populations and anthropogenic impacts are examined. The research results provide recommendations for sustainable protection of the area.
