DZIGA VERTOV AND THE FORMATION OF MODERN DOCUMENTARY FILM THEORY

This article examines the role of Dziga Vertov in the formation and development of documentary cinema within the history of world cinematography. The study analyzes Vertov’s theoretical concepts, particularly the “Kino-Eye” approach, which redefines the camera as an objective tool for capturing reality beyond human perception. Special attention is given to his seminal film Man with a Movie Camera as a turning point in the evolution of cinematic language and montage theory.本文探讨了吉加·维尔托夫（Dziga Vertov）在世界电影史框架内纪录片电影的形成与发展进程中所发挥的作用。本研究剖析了维尔托夫的理论体系，尤其是其标志性的“电影眼睛”（Kino-Eye）创作理念——该理念将摄影机重新定义为一种可捕捉人类感知范畴之外客观现实的工具。研究特别聚焦于其极具开创性的影片《持摄影机的人》（Man with a Movie Camera），将其视作电影语言与蒙太奇理论发展历程中的重要转折点。
