Registers of Scotland (RoS) Data

This is the official register of land and property in Scotland that records all sale and long lease transactions and provides details of property ownership since 1st April 2003. There are two datasets: address and master data. There are more records in the address tables than there are in master tables because some sales correspond to multiple addresses. A single sale could represent 3 or 4 properties sometimes. The sequence simply differentiates between the different properties in the sale. This is why more addresses appear in the address database than the number of rows in the sales database.

本数据集为苏格兰官方土地与不动产登记簿，自2003年4月1日起记录所有不动产买卖及长期租赁交易，并留存对应不动产的所有权详细信息。本次发布包含两类数据集：地址数据集与主数据集（master data）。地址表的记录条数多于主表，原因在于部分交易对应多个地址；单笔交易有时可涉及3至4处不动产，交易序列仅用于区分该笔交易下的不同不动产，这也正是地址数据库条目数多于交易数据库行数的核心缘由。
