Vegetation data were collected from 24 plots within Marakele National Park, equally representing encroached (woody-dominated) and non-encroached (open savanna) areas. Within each 25 × 25 m plot, species composition, abundance, canopy cover, height, and stem diameter of woody and shrub species were recorded following SEOSAW and Global Grassy Group protocols. Woody species were also classified by growth form and canopy classes to capture structural variation. GPS coordinates were recorded for all plots to allow spatial analysis. Historical vegetation data from 2013–2017 were incorporated to provide temporal context for assessing changes in species composition, abundance, and encroachment patterns.
本数据集的植被数据采集自马拉凯勒国家公园内的24个样方,该样方群均匀覆盖木本入侵(木本占优)与未入侵(开阔稀树草原)两类生境,两类样方占比均等。在每个25×25米的样方中,研究人员遵循SEOSAW协议与全球草本工作组(Global Grassy Group)的标准规程,记录了木本与灌木物种的物种组成、个体多度、冠层盖度、株高及茎干直径。此外,还依据生长型与冠层等级对木本物种进行分类,以完整捕捉其群落结构变异特征。所有样方均记录了GPS坐标,以支撑后续空间分析工作。本研究同步纳入2013至2017年的历史植被数据,为评估物种组成、个体多度以及木本入侵格局的动态变化提供时间维度的参照依据。
