Kootenay Lake (Station 1)

As part of Friends of Kootenay Lake’s commitment to the fish and wildlife habitat of Kootenay Lake, a three year water quality monitoring program was initiated. The near-shore program was conducted by trained volunteers all over Kootenay Lake, and monitoring water clarity and temperature of Kootenay Lake according to guidelines provided by the British Columbia Lake Stewardship Society’s (BCLSS) Lake Sampling Program (BCLSMP).

作为库特奈湖之友（Friends of Kootenay Lake）致力于保护库特奈湖鱼类与野生生物栖息地的举措之一，该组织启动了一项为期三年的水质监测项目。其近岸监测子项目由经过专业培训的志愿者在库特奈湖全域开展，并严格遵循不列颠哥伦比亚省湖泊管理协会（British Columbia Lake Stewardship Society，简称BCLSS）旗下湖泊采样计划（Lake Sampling Program，简称BCLSMP）制定的规范，开展湖水透明度与水温的监测工作。
