This coverage consists of designated stream segments in the state of Iowa. Classifications for designated streams are determined through a Use Assessment/Use Attainability Analysis. The coverage was developed using the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) and Hydro Event Management (HEM) tools. Stream segments delineated from the NHD were related to the Surface Water Classification Document (SWC), which is the rule referenced document in Chapter 61.3(5).
本数据集覆盖爱荷华州境内的指定河段。指定河段的分类等级需通过用途评估与用途可达性分析予以确定。本数据集依托国家水文数据集 (National Hydrography Dataset) 与水文事件管理 (Hydro Event Management) 工具构建完成。从NHD中划定的河段，与地表水分类文档 (Surface Water Classification Document) 相关联，该文档为第61.3(5)章所引用的规范性文件。
