1924. Luciano Magrini e l'emigrazione italiana in Brasile

This article presents and analyses a book-report written in 1924 by the journalist Luciano Magrini about the conditions of the Italians immigrant in the Brazilians fazendas. A book, rarely cited by the current historiography, is interesting for at least two aspects: as an expression of opposition to the emigration policies of the Fascist government, and as a construction of negative image of that Latin-American country.
