A combination of stable isotope probing metagenomes and viromes, bulk metatranscriptomes, bulk viromes, long read viromes, and environmental DNA surveys. Soils were analyzed as dry soils (T0), 1, 2, and 3 weeks after wet-up. Half of the samples had DI water added and the other half had heavy water added (H218O). Half of the samples (DI or heavy water) also had Potassium dihydrogen phosphate added (KH2PO4). The goals were to characterize all virus types pre and post wet-up and to see any impacts from phosphorus addition.

本数据集整合了稳定同位素探针宏基因组(stable isotope probing metagenomes)、病毒组(viromes)、整体宏转录组(bulk metatranscriptomes)、整体病毒组(bulk viromes)、长读长病毒组(long read viromes)以及环境DNA调查(environmental DNA surveys)。实验以干土(T0)及湿润后1、2、3周的土壤样品为研究对象,按时间梯度开展分析。所有样品中,一半添加去离子水(DI water),另一半添加重水(H₂¹⁸O);在去离子水或重水处理的组别中,又各有一半样品添加了磷酸二氢钾(KH₂PO₄)。本研究旨在表征湿润前后的全部病毒类群,并探究磷添加对病毒群落的影响。
