Genomic sequencing of the horn fly

The genome of the horn fly, Haematobia irritans (L.), is being sequenced by the Livestock Insects Research Laboratory, USDA-ARS. The DNA source is a wild type strain collected from San Gabriel Research Farm in Louisiana.角蝇（Haematobia irritans (L.)）的基因组测序工作目前由美国农业部农业研究局（USDA-ARS）畜牧昆虫研究实验室承担。其DNA样本来源于在路易斯安那州圣加布里埃尔试验农场采集的野生型品系。
