AEBP1 expression predicts a poor prognosis of bladder cancer patients, while its role has not been fully understood. We here show that the expression of AEBP1 was correlated with GLI transcriptional factors, leading to limit the SSRP1/SUPT16H (FACT) complex-dependency of bladder cancer cells. AEBP1-highly expressing human bladder cancer cell line 5637 was used for the RNA-seq experiment: cells were transfected with either AEBP1-specific siRNA siAEBP1-1 or its control siControl. 72 hours after transfection, cells were harvested for RNA exraction. The gene expression profile was then analyzed using data obtained from the RNA-seq of triplicate samples.
