Clonally propagated plants are genetically invariant, but often display somaclonal variation. In this study we investigated the factors contributing to this variation by generating RNA-seq and Bisulfite-seq datasets of Arabidopsis thaliana plants from regenerants from two different ecotypes (Col-0 and Ws-2) and created by the ectopic activation of two different embryonic transcription factors (RKD4 and LEC2).
