Experiments on gravel-sand transitions

Primary data underlying and collected during flume experiments presented in two companion papers by Dingle & Venditti. Runs 1-8 are detailed in the first companion paper (test of wash load deposition) and Runs 9-16 are detailed in the second (grain size gap). Details of each flume run are presented on the first 8 tabs, as well as input and final gravel bed/bedload grain size distributions. Subsequent calculations using these data are also shown in the remaining tabs of each file. Descriptions of each run are included on the first page of each Excel file. Experiments were conducted in the River Dynamics Laboratory at Simon Fraser University between 2019-2021 by E. Dingle, and were supported through an NSERC Discovery grant & Accelerator Supplement awarded to J Venditti.

本数据集涵盖Dingle与Venditti两篇配套论文所呈现的水槽实验的基础原始采集数据。其中第1至8号实验场次的详细内容载于第一篇配套论文（冲泻质淤积试验），第9至16号实验场次的详细信息则见于第二篇配套论文（粒径间隙试验）。各水槽实验场次的详细资料、初始与最终砾石床/推移质粒径分布数据，均收录于各文件的前8个工作表标签中；各文件剩余的工作表标签则展示了基于本数据集开展的后续计算结果。每份Excel文件的首页均包含对应实验场次的详细说明。本实验由E. Dingle于2019年至2021年间在西蒙弗雷泽大学（Simon Fraser University）河流动力学实验室开展，研究工作获得了授予J. Venditti的加拿大自然科学与工程研究理事会（Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, NSERC）发现研究基金及加速器补充资助的支持。
