COMPARE Food Metagenomic Ring Trial 2018 - spiked salmon

Due to the importance of foods in the transmission of zoonotic agents, within COMPARE Task 2.7 framework a food metagenomic ring trial will be organised between April and June, 2018.The aim of the ring trial is to compare microorganisms' identity and corresponding abundances in a food matrix tested by shotgun metagenomic sequencing.The food matrix will be smoked salmon spiked with a mock community containing bacteria, viruses and parasites.

鉴于食物在人畜共患病原体传播过程中具有重要意义，在COMPARE任务2.7的框架下，项目组将于2018年4月至6月期间组织一项食品宏基因组学环形试验（ring trial）。本次环形试验的核心目标为对比通过鸟枪法宏基因组测序（shotgun metagenomic sequencing）检测得到的食品基质中微生物的物种鉴定结果及其对应相对丰度。本次试验采用的食品基质为掺入了包含细菌、病毒与寄生虫的模拟群落（mock community）的烟熏三文鱼。
