DESY-HERA. Measurement of the jet substructure and differential cross sections for jets produced in the photoproduction and DIS scattering regions in E P collisions (E+-=27.5 GeV,P=920 GeV) with an integrated luminosity of 82.2 pb-1. The substructure of jets is studied in terms of the jet shape and subjet multiplicity for jets with transverse energies & gt; 17 GeV. The jet shapes and subjet multiplicities are used to tag gluon and quark initiated jets. (BROAD and NARROW respectively). See text of paper for details.. R is the core radius in the KT cluster jet finding algorithm.. YCUT is the jet resolution parameter.
本数据集为DESY-HERA装置在正电子-质子(e⁺p)碰撞实验(束流能量E₊=27.5 GeV、质子束能量P=920 GeV)中,针对光生过程与深度非弹性散射(Deep Inelastic Scattering, DIS)散射区产生的喷注开展的喷注亚结构与微分截面测量研究,实验积分亮度达82.2 pb⁻¹。针对横向能量大于17 GeV的喷注,本研究通过喷注形状与子喷注多重数两个维度分析其亚结构特性。通过喷注形状与子喷注多重数可实现对胶子引发与夸克引发喷注的标记,二者分别对应宽喷注与窄喷注。详细实验细节请参见论文正文。其中,R为KT聚类喷注重建算法(KT cluster jet finding algorithm)中的核心半径,YCUT为喷注分辨参数。
