OpenBrush Portraits is a curated subset of the OpenBrush-75K dataset, containing 13,059 portrait paintings across all artists, movements, and centuries. These portraits span a full historical range from Renaissance bust portraits to Baroque chiaroscuro, Rococo society, Romantic, Realist, Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and Expressionist styles, making it useful for diverse historical painting-style portrait training data. The dataset is licensed under MIT and includes detailed captioning with fields such as tags, subject, action, setting, mood, style, lighting, color, and composition. Each entry also includes metadata like unique identifier, image dimensions, artist name, art movement/style, genre, and more.
