Development of oil-adjuvant vaccine against new duck disease in Kerala. Riemerella anatipestifer

Riemerella anatipestifer, causative agent of new duck disease resulting in about 50 % mortality in Kerala for the past few years. So far, 21 serotypes has been reported globally with no cross-protection between them. Hence, development of vaccine trials using local isolate was attempted and it is in the completion stage.

鸭疫里默氏杆菌（Riemerella anatipestifer）是新型鸭病的致病原，近年来在印度喀拉拉邦造成约50%的病死率。截至目前，全球已报道21种血清型，各血清型间无交叉保护作用。为此，研究人员尝试利用本地分离株开展疫苗试验研发，目前该工作已处于收尾阶段。
