Rotating Radio Transients (RRATs) are neutron stars that emit sporadic radio bursts. Our observations of RRAT~J1913+1330 using the FAST telescope have revealed intriguing characteristics that align with populations of nulling pulsars, giant pulses, and Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) from various perspectives. However, the limitations in tracking length, effective time resolution, and narrowband capabilities of the FAST observation have left many mysteries surrounding this source unanswered. In this proposal, we aim to conduct observations of J1913+1330 using the Parkes Ultra-Wideband Low (UWL) receiver. Our objective is to perform a single tracking session lasting up to 5 hours, employing high-time resolution, in order to search for a long-term period and sub-millisecond quasi-periodic oscillation. Through an analysis of the spectrum and potential scattering effects using wideband observation, the UWL data will provide valuable insights to determine whether this source exhibits properties more akin to pulsars or FRBs.

旋转射电暂现源(Rotating Radio Transients, RRATs)是一类发射零星射电爆发的中子星。我们利用500米口径球面射电望远镜(FAST)对RRAT J1913+1330的观测,从多个角度揭示了其与零射电脉冲星、巨脉冲以及快速射电暴(Fast Radio Bursts, FRBs)群体相似的有趣特征。然而,FAST观测在跟踪时长、有效时间分辨率及窄带能力方面的局限性,使得该源的诸多谜团仍未解开。本提案旨在利用帕克斯超宽带低频接收机(Parkes Ultra-Wideband Low, UWL)对J1913+1330开展观测,目标是进行一次最长5小时的单跟踪观测,采用高时间分辨率以搜寻长期周期和亚毫秒级准周期振荡。通过宽带观测分析光谱及潜在散射效应,UWL数据将为判断该源更接近脉冲星还是FRBs的属性提供宝贵线索。
