Study of Neuroprotective Activity of New Acetylcholinesterase Inhibitors TVA and TVS in Experimental Model of Alzheimer's Disease

We synthesized novel chemical compounds TVA and TVS that possess AChEI activity and studied their neuroprotective effect in an experimental AD model. Studies were performed on white rats. AD was induced via bilateral intracerebroventricular administration of Aβ 25-35. Histopathological examinations were performed in the hippocampus and the entorhinal cortex. Liver tissue has been additionally examined to monitor the hepatotoxicity of these compounds.

我们合成了具备乙酰胆碱酯酶抑制剂（acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, AChEI）活性的新型化合物TVA与TVS，并在阿尔茨海默病（Alzheimer's Disease, AD）实验模型中探究了二者的神经保护作用。本研究以白化大鼠为实验对象，通过双侧脑室内注射β-淀粉样蛋白25-35（Aβ 25-35）诱导阿尔茨海默病模型。随后对海马体与内嗅皮层开展组织病理学检查，并额外检测肝脏组织以监测这两种化合物的肝毒性。
