Datasets associated with Pickard N et al. 'Introducing an adjustable upper limb prosthesis into a Ugandan clinical service: Impacts on free living behaviour and prosthetic use' Scientific Reports (in press)

This database contains all the raw, unprocessed data collected from two different activity monitors monitoring upper-limb prosthetic use and physical activity.
This data was collected from eight Ugandan participants with trans-radial limb loss across three differing data collection periods of up seven days.
The database is organised by participant (1-8), with each participant folder containing the Activpal and Axivity monitor data for the relevant data collection periods.
These being T0 (prior to intervention), T1 (at least one week post intervention) and T2 (at least six months post intervention).
Please not that not all participants completed all three data collection periods and some did not wear both monitors during all data collection periods. Full details of this can be found in the main article.

.datx files were collected using the Activpal 4+ monitor, which was worn on the thigh of each participant.

.cwa files were collected using the Axivity AX3 monitor, which was worn on the prosthetic wrist of each participant.

本数据库收录了两款活动监测设备采集的全部原始未处理数据，用于监测上肢假肢使用情况与日常身体活动水平。
本次数据采集招募了8名经桡骨截肢的乌干达受试者，分三个数据采集阶段开展，每个阶段最长持续7天。
本数据库按受试者编号（1-8）进行分类，每个受试者的文件夹中均存储了对应采集阶段的Activpal与Axivity监测设备数据。
三个数据采集阶段分别为：T0（干预前）、T1（干预后至少1周）以及T2（干预后至少6个月）。
请注意，并非所有受试者均完成了全部三个数据采集阶段，且部分受试者在部分采集周期内未同时佩戴两款监测设备。相关详细说明可查阅主论文。

.datx格式文件由Activpal 4+（Activpal 4+）监测设备采集，该设备佩戴于每位受试者的大腿部位。此类数据可通过Pal软件套件打开，获取地址为：https://www.palt.com/softwaresuite/。
