Pseudomonas sihuiens is is a bacterial species belonging to the Pseudomonas genus, commonly researched for its role in bioremediation due to its capability to break down various organic pollutants, especially hydrocarbons. Its metabolic adaptability and ability to produce biosurfactants (which enhance the accessibility of hydrophobic substrates for degradation), make it a promising candidate for bioremediation. However, research on the bioremediation potential of P. sihuiensis remains limited, and further studies are required to fully assess its effectiveness in applied environmental cleanup. In this study, P. sihuiensis MAMP 8324 was isolated from the medicinal plant Elephantorrhiza elephantina. The sequencing data will provide insights into its genetic mechanisms and potential for detoxification as well as bioremediation.

思慧假单胞菌（Pseudomonas sihuiensis）是隶属于假单胞菌属（Pseudomonas）的细菌物种，因其可降解多种有机污染物（尤其烃类物质）的能力，常被用于生物修复相关研究。该菌的代谢适应性以及生成生物表面活性剂（可提升疏水性底物的降解可及性）的特性，使其成为生物修复领域极具潜力的候选菌株。然而目前针对思慧假单胞菌（P. sihuiensis）的生物修复潜力研究仍较为有限，仍需开展进一步研究以全面评估其在实际环境修复中的应用效果。本研究从药用植物Elephantorrhiza elephantina中分离得到思慧假单胞菌MAMP 8324。该测序数据将为解析其解毒及生物修复的遗传机制与潜在能力提供研究思路。
