In order to understand the impact of genetic variants on transcription and ultimately in changes in observed phenotypes we have measured transcript levels in an Escherichia coli strains collection, for which genetic and phenotypic data has also been measured. Overall design: Each sample has been analysed at least in duplicate. All samples were harvested when cultures reached O.D. of about 0.2 (at 600 nanometers).
为探究遗传变异对转录过程以及最终观测表型变化的影响,我们对一组大肠杆菌(Escherichia coli)菌株集开展了转录本水平检测,该菌株集的遗传与表型数据亦已完成测定。实验整体设计如下:每份样本均至少完成双重复分析;当培养物在600纳米波长下的光密度(O.D.)值约为0.2时,收获全部样本。
