This study aimed to look at the signaling response of ovarian cancer cells to physical confinement in silica gels for 24 and 72 hr relative to standard culture control cells; the study also investigated transcriptomes of ovarian cancer cells surviving physical confinement and later extracted from silica gels and compared signaling to that of ovarian cancer cells surviving cisplatin drug treatment 5 different conditions (Control, Day 1, Day 3, Extracted, and Treated) and 2 biological replicates per condition

本研究旨在以标准培养的对照细胞为参照,探究卵巢癌细胞在硅胶凝胶(silica gels)中经受24小时与72小时物理限域(physical confinement)后的信号通路响应;同时,本研究还对经物理限域后从硅胶凝胶中回收存活的卵巢癌细胞进行转录组(transcriptome)分析,并将其信号通路特征与经顺铂药物处理的卵巢癌细胞进行对比。本研究共设置5种实验条件,分别为对照组(Control)、第1天组(Day 1)、第3天组(Day 3)、提取组(Extracted)和顺铂处理组(Treated),且每个条件设置2个生物学重复。
