Digital Elevation Models of Midre Lovénbreen, Svalbard

These DEMs were acquired from Midre Lovénbreen on 9 August 2003 and 5 July 2005. They are provided here in Geotiff format (UTM projection, zone 33, WGS84), with a grid spacing of 2 m. Airborne data collection was carried out by the UK Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Airborne Remote Sensing Facility and the University of Cambridge Unit for Landscape Modelling. The data were acquired using an Optech ALTM3033 LiDAR system flying on a Dornier Do228 aircraft. Subsequent processing to generate the gridded data was performed by the authors.

本数据集包含2003年8月9日与2005年7月5日在米德勒·洛文布雷恩冰川（Midre Lovénbreen）采集的数字高程模型（Digital Elevation Model, DEM）。本次发布的数据采用GeoTIFF格式，投影为通用横轴墨卡托（UTM）33区，坐标系为WGS84，网格间距为2米。机载数据采集工作由英国自然环境研究委员会（Natural Environment Research Council, NERC）机载遥感设施与剑桥大学景观建模研究组承担。本次数据采集采用搭载于多尼尔Do228航空器的Optech ALTM3033激光雷达（LiDAR）系统完成。后续网格数据的生成与处理工作由本文作者完成。
