Pancreatic cancer is a malignant tumor originating from the pancreatic ductal epithelium and acinar cells. The methylation analysis workflow primarily identifies and quantifies changes in genomic methylation sites. It includes quality control (QC), adapter trimming, alignment to the reference genome, screening of differentially methylated regions (DMRs), corresponding annotation, integrated analysis with transcriptomic data, and result visualization. Two alignment tools are involved: Bismark and BSMAP.
