RNA sequencing was used to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) which could reflect early disease in IPF. Primary human lung fibroblasts were isolated directly from the upper half of the upper lobe from human lungs, there are 4 healthy controls and 5 IPF patients to identify differentially expressed genes between IPF patients and healthy controls.

本研究采用RNA测序(RNA sequencing)技术鉴定差异表达基因(differentially expressed genes, DEGs),此类基因可反映特发性肺纤维化(Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, IPF)的早期病变。我们直接从人类肺脏上叶的上半部分分离原代人肺成纤维细胞,实验共纳入4名健康对照者与5名IPF患者,以此鉴定IPF患者与健康对照者之间的差异表达基因。
