Eclipta prostrata was recently reported to be a novel therapy for osteoporosis prevention by targeting gut microbiota. Various bacteria were isolated from wild plant samples of E. prostrata, and EP01 had significant inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. However, it is still not clear that whether the main target of E. prostrata on gut microbiota was its own pharmacodynamic substances or secondary metabolites from endophytic microorganisms. Moreover, endophytic bacteria in E. prostrata might also affected intestinal ecology by colonization into the intestinal environment. Therefore, in view of the influence of endophytic bacteria on the efficacy of TCM, screening, sequencing and analysing endophytic bacteria from TCM is a hot field in the study of pharmacodynamics, and has important research significance and application prospects.
近期有研究表明,鳢肠(Eclipta prostrata)可通过靶向肠道菌群(gut microbiota)成为预防骨质疏松的新型治疗策略。研究团队从野生鳢肠植株样本中分离得到多种细菌,其中菌株EP01对金黄色葡萄球菌(Staphylococcus aureus)及大肠埃希菌(Escherichia coli)具有显著的抑制活性。但目前仍未明确,鳢肠调控肠道菌群的主要作用靶点,是其自身的药效物质基础,还是来源于内生微生物的次级代谢产物。此外,鳢肠所含的内生细菌或可通过定植于肠道环境,对肠道生态系统产生影响。鉴于内生细菌对中医药(Traditional Chinese Medicine,TCM)疗效的调控作用,从中药材中筛选、测序并分析内生细菌已成为中药药效学研究的热门领域,具备重要的科研意义与应用前景。
