This study reports the comprehensive gene expression profiling of postnatal day (P) 10 control diet (Control) and Csf1r antagonist (PLX5622, Plexicon Inc. Berkeley, CA) diet fed microglia deplted retinas (referred as PLX5622) during development. Further functional enrichment analysis revealed down-regulation of biological processes linked to phagocytosis and innate immune signaling. Overall design: Retinal mRNA profiles of P10 control and microglia depleted (PLX5622) mice were generated by deep sequencing, n=4/genotype, using Illumina Nextseq 2000, and the sequencing target was 25 million reads per samples.
