Environmental scan of Open science policies - Canada, globally and U15 institutions

This dataset includes the results of two environmental scanning activities to better understand existing open science practices across Canada and globally. The file titled "Scan of open science policies - Canada and globally" includes results of a scan of OS practices that were manually surveyed across 40 national and global institutions, organizations, and resources (e.g., OS toolkits, guides), and thematically analyzed.
The file titled "U15 OS Policy Scan" includes results of a manual scan of U15 Canadian Universities, as well as Brock University and Simon Fraser University of OS policies , guidelines, declarations and then thematically analyzed.

These findings provided insights for the uOttawa Open Science Working Group's final recommendations for its Open Science Roadmap.
