Calf diarrhea is one of the most common diseases causing significant economic losses in the livestock industry. In this study, a total of 100 diarrheic calves fecal samples were collected from 10 cattle farms in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. 97 <i>E. coli</i> strains and 20 <i>Salmonella</i> strains were detected. In <i>vitro</i>, the combination of Chinese Herbal Formula (CHF) and Microcin J25(MCJ) showed a synergistic inhibitory effect against <i>E. coli</i> and <i>Salmonella</i>. Moreover, the combined treatment also showed Virulence inhibitory activity. In <i>vivo</i>, the combination effectively reduced the incidence of diarrhea in healthy calves in dose-dependence.Our study indicated that the combination of Chinese Herbal Formula (CHF) and Microcin J25(MCJ) effectively combats multidrug-resistant <i>E. coli</i> and <i>Salmonella</i>, improving both prevention and treatment of calf diarrhea by enhancing immunity and restoring gut microbiota balance.

小牛腹泻是畜牧业中导致重大经济损失的最常见疾病之一。本研究从宁夏回族自治区的10个奶牛场共采集了100份腹泻犊牛粪便样本，检测到97株大肠杆菌（E. coli）和20株沙门氏菌（Salmonella）。体外（in vitro）实验中，中药复方（Chinese Herbal Formula, CHF）与微菌素J25（Microcin J25, MCJ）联合使用对大肠杆菌和沙门氏菌表现出协同抑制作用，且该联合处理还具有毒力抑制活性。体内（in vivo）实验中，该联合方案以剂量依赖方式有效降低了健康犊牛的腹泻发生率。本研究表明，中药复方（CHF）与微菌素J25（MCJ）联合使用可有效对抗多重耐药性大肠杆菌和沙门氏菌，通过增强免疫力和恢复肠道菌群平衡，同时改善小牛腹泻的预防与治疗效果。
