Next Generation Amplicon Sequencing of Blastocystis from Domestic and Captive Wild Birds in Brazil

Next generation sequencing (NGS) of 16 samples of fecal DNA from domestic and captive wild birds to detect and characterize Blastocystis subtypes . Blastocystis-specific primers were used to amplify the SSU rRNA gene.

本研究针对家养及圈养野生鸟类的16份粪便DNA样本开展下一代测序（NGS），以检测并鉴定芽囊原虫（Blastocystis）亚型。实验采用芽囊原虫特异性引物扩增小亚基核糖体RNA（SSU rRNA）基因。
