Methylated RNA immunoprecipitation (MeRIP) is based on the principle that m6A-specific antibodies recognize and bind to m6A on mRNA, enriching methylated modified fragments based on RNA immunoprecipitation, and combining with high-throughput sequencing to study the site-specific distribution of m6A methylation and further screening of RNA m6A modified differential genes.

甲基化RNA免疫沉淀（Methylated RNA Immunoprecipitation，MeRIP）的核心原理为：N6-甲基腺苷（m6A）特异性抗体可识别并结合信使RNA（messenger RNA，mRNA）上的m6A修饰，通过RNA免疫沉淀技术富集带有甲基化修饰的RNA片段，结合高通量测序技术，可用于解析m6A甲基化的位点特异性分布，并进一步筛选存在RNA m6A修饰差异的基因。
