本数据集基于落射荧光显微技术（Epifluorescence Microscopy），针对真核浮游植物（eukaryotic phytoplankton）按类群与粒径分级开展碳生物量估算。所用样品采集自东热带太平洋哥斯达黎加穹窿（Costa Rica Dome, CRD）海域的MV1008航次。
