This dataset contains recordings of the sound and vibration caused by a walking person, moving on different types of floors in different buildings in different but (for the recordings) standardized ways. Different recording equipment was used including an ambisonic microphone system, a low noise microphone, a comercial vibration measurement system and a self developed vibration measurement system. The data created from sound pressure and vibration measurements are stored with a brief description of the data, its origin, its unique identifier, the date and the time periods of the data. These descriptions can be found in accompanying files, depending on the device used for measurement. Filenames of the relevant measurement files (recordings, accumulated data) will follow this naming convention: [running index starting anew for each measurement set]_[descriptor according to the type of input]_[additional file information].[file ending] The data for each measurement set is organized in the following folder structure: Measurement_[measurement/site name] |-> Position_[position index] | |-> Accelerometer (comercial vibration measurement system) | | |-> [running index for measurement set]_[type of input] | | | |-> (measurement files) | |-> Andreas (self developed vibration measurement system + ambisonics microphone system) | | |-> WAVs | | | |-> (recorded wav files) | | |-> WAVs_Calc_Floor (only if vibration could not be measured on floor) | | | |-> (converted wav files) | |-> Low_Noise | | |-> [running index for measurement set]_[type of input] | | | |-> (measurement files) | |-> (optional: additional files like channel information |-> (optional: additional folders like reverberation time)
