PlasmoID

PlasmoID数据集是由加札马达大学工程学院电气与信息工程系创建，包含559张来自印度尼西亚农村地区的薄血涂片显微图像，总计691个疟疾病原体。该数据集主要用于疟疾病原体的检测和分割，提供了病原体的真实标注信息。数据集的创建过程涉及专业的显微镜检查和寄生虫学确认，确保了数据的准确性和可靠性。PlasmoID数据集的应用领域主要集中在疟疾的自动诊断和计算机辅助诊断系统的发展，旨在提高疟疾病原体检测的准确性和效率。

The PlasmoID dataset was developed by the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada. It contains 559 microscopic images of thin blood smears collected from rural areas in Indonesia, with a total of 691 malaria pathogens. This dataset is primarily used for the detection and segmentation of malaria pathogens, and provides ground-truth annotation information for the pathogens. The creation of this dataset involved professional microscopic examination and parasitological validation, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data. The application scenarios of the PlasmoID dataset mainly focus on the development of automated malaria diagnosis and computer-aided diagnosis systems, aiming to improve the accuracy and efficiency of malaria pathogen detection.
