THE INTERACTION OF THE WRITING SYSTEM AND THE PHONETIC SOUND SYSTEM

The article analyzes the processes of formation of Japanese writing and phonetic system, the introduction of Chinese writing system into Japan and the adaptation of this process to Japanese language. The gojuon scheme, the articulatory sequence of consonants and vowels, pa–fa–ha sound changes and the emergence of handakuten/dakuten signs indicate that Japanese writing has approached phonetic accuracy. The eight-vowel system discovered by Hashimoto Shinkichi served as a scientific explanation of the phenomena of spelling in ancient Japanese. The study sheds light on the historical development of Japanese writing and phonetic thinking, the natural evolution of language and the process of accurate expression of oral speech through graphic signs in writing.本文剖析日语文字与语音系统的形成历程，以及汉字书写系统传入日本并适配日语语言的相关过程。五十音图（gojuon scheme）、辅音与元音的发音序列、pa–fa–ha的音变现象，以及半浊音符号/浊音符号（handakuten/dakuten）的诞生，均表明日语文字正逐步趋近语音精准性。桥本进吉所发现的八元音系统，为古代日语的拼写现象提供了科学阐释。本研究阐明了日语文字与语音思维的历史演进、语言的自然演化，以及通过书写图形符号精准表达口头言语的相关过程。
