A haplotype-resolved reference genome of Quercus alba sheds light on the evolutionary history of oaks

We report the first haplotype-resolved chromosome-scale genome assembly of Quercus alba and conducted comparative analyses of genome structure and gene content against other published Fagaceae genomes. In addition, we probed the genetic diversity of this widespread species and investigated its phylogenetic relationships with other oaks using whole genome data.

本研究报道了首个白栎（Quercus alba）的单倍型解析染色体级基因组组装，并针对已发表的其他壳斗科（Fagaceae）基因组开展了基因组结构与基因含量的比较分析。此外，本研究利用全基因组数据探究了这一广布物种的遗传多样性，并解析了其与其他栎树的系统发育关系。
