The Pump and Valve Control System 01 was deployed on 2020-06-16 on Tsawwassen - Swartz Bay Ferry Route. This ferry route goes between Tsawwassen terminal in Vancouver, BC and the Swartz Bay terminal, Victoria BC. This device is a Pump and Valve Control System. The Pump and Valve Control System (PVCS) is developed by Ocean Networks Canada. It monitors the operation of a pump and a set of valves while providing feedback using various sensors. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
