Iron (Fe) dissolved in soil pore water measured at various locations within the drained thaw lake basin near Barrow, Alaska, 2012

In 2012, iron (Fe) dissolved in soil pore water was measured at various locations within the drained thaw lake basin previously used for the Biocomplexity Experiment (BE), near Barrow, Alaska (AK). Collars were arranged in three clusters within the central region of the BE, referred to as A, B and C. Soil water was sampled with Rhizon water samplers, preserved with hydrochloric acid (HCl) and analyzed colorimetrically with 1,10-phenanthroline.

2012年，研究人员对位于美国阿拉斯加州巴罗（Barrow, AK）附近、曾用于生物复杂性实验（Biocomplexity Experiment, BE）的排水融湖盆地内的多个点位，开展了土壤孔隙水中溶解态铁（Fe）的测定工作。该实验区（BE）中部布设了三组采样环（collars），分别命名为A、B、C集群。本次研究采用Rhizon水采样器（Rhizon water samplers）采集土壤孔隙水，以盐酸（hydrochloric acid, HCl）对样品进行保存，并通过1,10-邻菲啰啉（1,10-phenanthroline）比色法完成分析。
