Halophilic bacteria is an interesting bacteria for any industrial application. Recently we have successfully isolated a halophilic bacterium from Sangiran archeological site, Central Java, that is able to grow on 10% of salts. By such properties, it is very interesting to further explore the potential industrial application of the bacterium.

嗜盐菌（halophilic bacteria）是一类在工业应用领域极具研究价值的细菌。近期，我们从印度尼西亚中爪哇省桑吉兰考古遗址中成功分离得到一株嗜盐细菌，该菌株可在10%盐浓度的环境中正常生长。基于该菌株的上述特性，进一步探索其工业应用潜力具有重要的研究与应用价值。
