沙漠化是我国北方干旱、半干旱及部分半湿润地区由于人地关系不相协调所造成的以风沙活动为主要标志的土地退化。 数据源：中国冰川冻土沙漠研究所编绘，中国科学院地理研究所协作，根据七十年代航片，加上实地调研，绘制的1：200万沙漠图，图中中国国界是根据地图出版社一九七一年出版的1:400万《中华人民...Desertification refers to land degradation characterized primarily by wind-sand activities, which occurs in arid, semi-arid and some semi-humid regions of northern China due to the uncoordinated human-land relationship. Data source: Compiled and drawn by the Institute of Glaciology, Frozen Soil and Desert Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with the Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The 1:2,000,000 scale desert map was developed based on aerial photographs from the 1970s combined with field surveys, and the national boundary of China on this map is based on the 1:4,000,000 scale *People's Republic of China...* published by China Cartographic Publishing House in 1971.
