Enhancing climate impact assessment with surface albedo effects of land cover changes: Dataset of surface albedo values

This dataset includes the daily-mean blue-sky surface albedo climatologies averaged over the period 2011–2020 for different land cover types as documented in the article "Enhancing climate impact assessment with surface albedo effects of land cover changes: Methodology and dataset". When using the dataset, please cite the article and provide reference to this zenodo repository. Data are provided as .csv files, with each file representing a distinct land cover type. Each file includes: Monthly mean albedo values (averaged over 2011–2020) or the variance of the albedo values (denoted by "var" in the file name) Annual mean albedo values (averaged by incoming solar radiation in each month. The file "monthly_weighting_factors.csv" contains the values used to calculate the annual means) Latitude and longitude coordinates for each grid cell Files ending in "005" are at a 0.05 degree resolution, all others are at a 0.5 degree resolution.
