Real-time quantitative PCR analysis of Normal and Cancerous Prostate Cells [RT-PCR]

To validate a panel of selected genes expression in prostate cancer, we performed expression profiling of normal prostate epithelial cells (PrEC) and the prostate cancer cell line LNCaP using qPCR. RNA was extracted from prostate cancer (LNCaP) and normal (PrEC) cells and selected genes differential expression was quantified using qPCR.

为验证一组选定基因在前列腺癌中的表达情况，我们采用实时定量聚合酶链反应（quantitative real-time PCR，qPCR）对正常前列腺上皮细胞（PrEC）与前列腺癌细胞系LNCaP开展了表达谱分析。从前列腺癌细胞（LNCaP）及正常细胞（PrEC）中提取RNA，并通过qPCR定量测定了选定基因的差异表达水平。
