The data package primarily contains invention and utility model patent data related to oil pumps sourced from the global patent database. The patent data is evaluated and classified using a self-developed algorithm, enabling horizontal and longitudinal analysis of the changes in oil pump-related patent data and facilitating insight into the outcomes of intellectual property work in this field.
By comparing the oil pump patent data of various enterprises and individuals, differences in technological innovation capabilities and innovation levels among these entities can be identified, and the technological development trends of oil pump patents can be grasped. This helps enterprises avoid redundant R&D and prevent their developed technologies from infringing others' intellectual property rights.
This dataset is built upon an AHP model integrated with the entropy weight method. The goal layer is defined as the comprehensive value, and the indicator layer divides the comprehensive value index system into three value dimensions: technology, strategy, and economy. The indicator layer is further subdivided into criteria layers with the following specific indicators:
- Technological value: citation count, number of IPC subclasses, number of claims, and patent survival period;
- Economic value: remaining valid period, number of transfers, number of licenses, and number of pledges;
- Strategic value: number of patent families, and number of countries/regions covered in patent layout.
The original matrices and patent evaluation criteria for the three dimensions are established, and the corresponding weights are calculated. The single value of each dimension is computed, and the comprehensive value is obtained by summing the values of all dimensions. The LOOKUP function is used to determine the value interval of the comprehensive value of a single patent, so as to distinguish high-value patents, medium-value patents, and low-value patents (high-value patents: comprehensive value ≥ 25; low-value patents: comprehensive value < 15; medium-value patents: 15 ≤ comprehensive value < 25). This provides priority references for R&D decision-making and intellectual property infringement avoidance for technical personnel in this field.
Data source: Global Patent Database, where target patents are screened using keywords and IPC classifications.
The evaluation of high-value patents refers to the standard "Evaluation Method for High-Value Patents" T/ISC 0030-2023.
