A murine gut bacteria with the potential of representing either a novel genus or family. The over-all purpose is to culture and sequence the "unculturable" bacteria from the gut microbiota. This bacteria originates from the cecum of a mouse which was obese and pre-diabetec, and could therefore potentially have a relevance with this phenotype.
