The foodborne pathogen Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni (Cjj) is a leading cause of human acute gastroenteritis and also the most important antecedent for Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). We have determined the genome sequences of Cjj strains representing Penner serotype HS:19 that resulted in either enteritis or GBS.

食源性致病菌空肠弯曲菌空肠亚种（Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni，缩写Cjj）是引发人类急性胃肠炎的首要致病菌，同时也是吉兰-巴雷综合征（Guillain-Barré syndrome，缩写GBS）最主要的前驱致病因素。本研究已完成两类分别引发急性肠炎或吉兰-巴雷综合征的Penner血清型HS:19型Cjj菌株的全基因组测序。
